Graeme ” Changa ” Langlands was a St George captain, coach and star-player, he also captain coached the Australian Kangaroos.
He will most be remembered by the 1975 Grand Final where Langlands entered the game carrying a season’s worth of of injuries. He was given a painkilling injection before the match, but rather than merely deadening the pain it made his whole leg numb.
Who would forget that famous photo of Langlands being helped from the field by long term St George trainer Kenny Boothroyd.
What most don’t know is that Langlands later in life Langlands gifted Kenny one of his original playing jerseys saying “thanks for all those years you helped me you pommie bastard you have done more for me than anyone ”
There is no doubting the Authenticity and the true rarity of this unique Match Worn Jersey.
Langlands was not only a St George Immortal but an Australian Immortal.
The Jersey has been framed as pictured.
